Architects are responsible for the overall design of a project, including the planning, siting, and aesthetic design. Education requirements for architecture vary by country, but in the United States, most states require licensure in order to practice. Licensure is usually achieved by completing a professional degree in architecture, typically a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.), and passing the Architect Registration Examination (ARE).<\/p>\n

To become an architect, you will need to complete a five-year accredited professional degree in architecture.<\/p>\n
