If you want to become an architect, you will need to get a professional degree in architecture.<\/p>\n

There is no fixed path to becoming an architect, but most architects have a professional degree in architecture from an accredited university program. Many architects also have a master’s degree in architecture. To become licensed, architects must complete a professional internship and pass a series of exams administered by the National Architectural Accrediting Board.<\/p>\n

How many years will it take to be an architect? <\/h2>\n

The duration of an architect’s schooling depends on the curriculum and length of the program they choose to enroll in. Architectural programs can take anywhere from 5 to 7 years to complete.<\/p>\n

To become an architect, you will need to complete a degree recognised by the Architects Registration Board (ARB). You will also need to have a year of practical work experience, as well as a further 2 years’ full-time university course like BArch, Diploma, or MArch. Finally, you will need to take a final qualifying exam.<\/p>\n
