Raspberry Pi 3 is a credit-card sized computer that plugs into your TV and a keyboard. It’s a capable little PC which can be used for many of the things that your desktop PC does, like spreadsheets, word-processing and games. It also plays high-definition video. We want to see it being used by kids all over the world to learn programming.

The Raspberry Pi 3 has a Broadcom BCM2837 64bit Quad-Core Cortex-A53 ARMv8 SoC clocked at 1.2GHz. The chip features integrated 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity.

The Raspberry Pi 3 and 3+ are powerful single-board computers that can be used for a variety of applications. The quad-core ARMv8 CPU allows the board to be used in both 64-bit and 32-bit mode. The 1 GB of RAM is plenty for most applications. The Raspberry Pi Zero and Raspberry Pi Zero W are smaller single-board computers that feature the same ARMv6 CPU as the original Raspberry Pi. The 512 MB of RAM is adequate for most applications.

The ARMv8-A architecture is a 64-bit architecture that was first introduced in 2016 with the Raspberry Pi 3. The associated A64 instruction set provides support for more complex operations than the 32-bit ARMv7-A architecture. The A64 instruction set is also used in the 64-bit AArch64 architecture, which is used in high-performance computing applications.
