Are Lego Architecture sets a good investment

This is a decent investment set, however it is more likely to see a small initial increase in value, than huge profit margins.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that the LEGO Icons modular building series will be coming to an end in 2023. This series, which began in 2007 with the release of the LEGO 10182 Café Corner, has been a fan-favorite among LEGO enthusiasts for over a decade.

The series will be ending with the retirement of two of its most recent additions: the 10255 Assembly Square and the 10270 Bookshop. Both of these sets are scheduled to be discontinued in 2023.

We would like to thank the LEGO community for their support of the Icons series over the years. We hope that you have enjoyed building these iconic modular buildings as much as we have enjoyed creating them.

The set is estimated to retire sometime within early to mid 2023. Once retired, the expected annual growth will be close to 9% after the second year, which will value the set between $51 and $56 shortly after it is retired. Retirement risk is the risk that the set will not be able to fully fund its liabilities when it comes time to retire. This risk is mitigated by the set’s strong expected growth rate, which will allow it to generate the necessary income to cover its liabilities.

The team found that the most valuable LEGO set is the “Space Command Center” Back in 1979, it sold for $2499 But now it’s worth around $10,400 The second runner-up is the 1978 LEGO Castle, which can go for upward of $6,300.
